Relying on the remarkable experiences of MAPNA Group in the Field of Power Plant Projects and Performing of large and successful National Projects in the country, MAPNA Group Company determined to use its valuable background and high technological capabilities and modern management systems in the Oil and Gas Industry, to take a new step in the Development of the Country’s industry.

Therefore, MAPNA Group’s Oil and Gas Division started its official activities in 2007, by relying on the MAPNA group’s high Management Capabilities and Experiences and also by hiring Skilled, Experienced Experts in Oil and Gas Field , and a significant growth was achieved in a short period of time, although before that, MAPNA Group was cooperated in some Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Utility Projects.

in 2008, “MAPNA Oil and Gas Development Company” was established in order to perform Oil and Gas Field Development Projects, which started its work with the FOROOZ B Gas Field Development project in 2010.

In 2016, after evaluating the Candidate Companies to operate in the form of Exploration and Production, 8 companies were identified and introduced as E&P Companies by the Ministry of Petroleum, including MAPNA Oil and Gas Development Company on behalf of MAPNA Group Company.

Strategic Management, Investment and Performing various Oil and Gas Fields Development Plans, including Exploration, Drilling, Construction of Surface Facilities, Products Export, Oil and Gas Refineries and subsidiary Industrial Facilities, Production and Operation and Reservoir Management are some of the activities of this Company.

Also, direct Investment in the Construction, Management and Production of Oil and Gas and Execution of large Oil and Gas Projects in the form of EPC/EPCF/EPD Projects, and the Construction of Oil and Gas Refineries are the other services of MAPNA Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC).

In 2017, Developments Production plan of the Brown Fields in the EPC/EPD Contract framework were approved by the Board of Directors of the NIOC.

In this regard, MAPNA Oil and Gas Development Company, on behalf of MAPNA Group, participated in the DANAN Oil field Development Tender, and was awarded as the winner of Project on 2019. This Project is ongoing until now.

In 2016, performing PMDP studies of KARANJ, PARSI, RAG-SEFID, AB-TEYMOUR and MANSOURI fields were assigned to MAPNA Oil and Gas Development Company. Cooperating with Upstream Engineering Consultants, PMDP studies of these fields were carried out and the relevant proposals were presented to NISOC.

At the end of 2019, these studies concluded to an Investment Contract for the PARSI and PARANJ Fields Development plan with an approved DPOP performed in the IPC Framework, directly between MAPNA  OGDC and NISOC which is not effective yet
